For our final paper, we were allowed to write about a topic of our choice, something that is important to us. At the time, I was an Academic Coach through Loyola University Chicago serving at-risk students at a Chicago Public School. My work here was meaningful to me, and so I decided to write about what determines academic success. Usually, academic success is determined by our socioeconomic status and our intellect. However, through my research, I have found that factors such as networking and having a positive mindset can outweigh these odds. As a Student Ambassador for McGraw-Hill Education, I spearheaded the process of implementing Inclusive Access at Loyola University Chicago. Inclusive Access is McGraw-Hill's affordable textbook program. Through collaboration with my manager, sales rep, and the rest of my McGraw-Hill sales team, we have been working with key faculty and decision makers (professors, Loyola Student Government Association, Follett bookstore, etc).
Digital Marketing Final Project: BIY Art-STEM Online Course Program

During my Spring 2020 quarter, I collaborated with a team of 4 to develop and execute a market development plan for an EdTech startup. Our client, LH Global US, started a BIY Art-STEM Online Course Program. We helped our client by creating both a digital and a social strategy. The social media sites were search engine optimized using Google Analytics. We gave our class a 15-minute PowerPoint presentation over Zoom. As a result of our marketing strategy, LH Global US received 50 new leads.
