Leadership

As a Student Ambassador for McGraw-Hill at Loyola Chicago, I spearhead the implementation of Inclusive Access (McGraw-Hill's affordable textbook program).

Teamwork

As a Corporate Trainer, my Account Executive and I used teamwork to exceed daily sales quota in raising money for the Special Olympics International.

Diversity & Inclusion

As a choreographer for Sigma Chi's Derby Days event, I chose to use a "circle" formation as circles are commonly used to represent inclusivity. My sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, takes pride in its diverse group of individuals.

Critical Thinking

As a Corporate Trainer during one of my sales internships, I practiced critical thinking skills during our morning meetings. We would often be given a scenario and then we had to give careful thought to possible solutions.

Optimism

As a Corporate Trainer, I enjoyed my time working with Ana, an Account Executive who ended up also being promoted to CT!. She and I made great use of optimism during our time in the field. This skill allowed for us to reap great results for ourselves, our team, our customers, and our clients!

Empathy

As a Corporate Trainer, I was able to form great relationships with Account Executives through the use of empathy. I was able to empathize what it was like to be a little nervous at first, and I wanted to give back to others by sharing my similar experiences.

Strategic Thinking

This was the day I was promoted to Corporate Trainer (CT). Per tradition, I gave a promotion speech and spoke about my journey from Account Executive to CT. I elaborated on the steps it took for me to get from point A to B.

WOO (Winning Others Over)

While out in the field, I leveraged a great sense of WOO in order to meet and exceed my daily sales quota, raising funds on behalf of the Special Olympics.

Spanish Language & Literature

During my time at Talem+Plum, the company made an Instagram post featuring me and introducing me to its audience. Gracias! Me encanta hablar en Español.
